As an independent contractor, we understand that volume is key to maximizing your revenue. By partnering with Sedgwick, you can expand your portfolio and potentially increase your inspection volume by working with one of the most respected names in the industry.

We’re currently seeking contractors with expertise in construction classifications (ISO Classes 1–6), general liability and some flat rate workers comp. Most of our inspections focus on property and general liability coverage for a wide range of commercial risks, including:

Retail and convenience stores

  • Offices and professional buildings
  • Churches and schools
  • Restaurants
  • Apartment and condominium complexes

As part of your role, you’ll conduct on-site inspections and prepare clear, concise, and comprehensive reports. These reports typically include:

  • Exterior measurements and diagrams
  • Photographs of the property
  • Observations and recommendations
  • A summary of current conditions and any visible hazards

Pay

Sedgwick processes payments weekly and pays inspectors per completed report based on client specifications, specialty, program, location, and other factors. Our typical fee models flat rate per assignment. Most assignments fall within this category and average between $45-$100 per assignment.
