Sedgwick 1099 Risk Consultants work with our clients to identify and minimize key commercial fleet exposures and general liability through document review and onsite inspections to ensure OSHA guideline compliance. Provide consultative services to assist in improving management controls, reducing exposures and overall safety practices.

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS degree in a related health and safety field beneficial.

  • Minimum of 7 years' experience with commercial casualty loss control.

  • A thorough understanding of OSHA requirements with demonstrated ability to develop effective risk mitigation strategies.

  • Professional loss control certification (CSP, PE, CPCU, ARM) beneficial.

  • Demonstrated ability to identify and minimize commercial fleet exposures and construction related exposures.

  • Understanding of current loss control standards and trends/emerging issues of commercial lines business.

  • Proven ability to communicate complex subject matter in a clear and concise manner verbally and written.

  • Problem solver with solutions to unusual exposures or loss issues.

NOTE: Criminal and motor vehicle record check, confirmed via a background screening, is required for this position.
