We are looking for someone who can do 1-5 workers compensation inspections per month. The client does require safety certification such as ASP, CET, CHFP, CHMM, CHMP, CHSP, CHST, CIH, CPE, SCHM, CSP.

Workers’ Compensation Requirements

  • High level Risk Management (WC and OSHA) credentialed consultants with a Safety and Environmental background
  • Capable of completing a narrative/consultative report for inventory under programs Risk Consultative Services / Consultative Services / Risk Control Assessment
  • Can provide onsite safety training and create safety programs by reviewing losses, identifying trends, and providing ongoing service to help clients reduce the number of losses or incidents
  • Prepare detailed reports documenting findings and recommendations

General Requirements

  • Self-disciplined, organized, and able to prioritize and manage assigned workload as well as schedule and conduct inspections in an efficient and timely manner
  • Self-starter who works individually and can meet hard deadlines under limited and remote supervision
  • Proficient with PC and internet, including Microsoft Office Suite
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Professional conduct and excellent interpersonal skills, along with strong analytical, consultative, and interpretive skills
  • Must be physically able to complete inspections to adequately assess properties and be comfortable working outside in various weather conditions and temperatures
  • Active licensed insurance agents/producers are considered a conflict of interest

Pay

  • Sedgwick processes payments weekly and pays inspectors per completed report based on client specifications, specialty, program, location, and other factors. These are consultative roles starting at $35 per hour professional time and $25 per hour drive time.

Our independent loss control consultants can decline any assignment they feel is not suitable for their skill level or fee requirements. The number and frequency of assignments may vary depending upon geographical location, client requirements and skill set. Sedgwick assigns work based on skill set and capacity.

NOTE: Criminal and motor vehicle record check, confirmed via a background screening, is required for this position.
