Contractor

We are seeking EXPERIENCED INDEPENDENT CONTRACTORS to complete insurance underwriting inspections.

Our services to our insurance company customers that are completed in the field primarily focus on commercial & residential inspections as well as workers’ compensation inspections. We strongly value experience in commercial property inspections, as most of the work is typically in commercial lines.

For commercial lines, Inspectors travel to the insureds' business sites, evaluating hazards and safety concerns. Information is gathered by interviewing the business owner, touring the premises, making measurements of the buildings as required, taking photos, and identifying hazards and safety concerns.

In areas where we have WC field inspections to assign, Inspectors who have that experience would add significant value.

The volume of work varies by location, and may range anywhere from one day’s worth of work to several days or more per week; the amount of work to be assigned within his/her specific territory will be discussed as we explore the issue of availability.

Inspectors must have an insured, reliable vehicle, access to high-speed Internet, and a digital camera.

Earnings are commission-based, as each inspection, for each location, is paid by the hour (determined by the inspection's length and complexity).
